Meeting 18.5.2009

BULLET POINTS

  • Guests Elizabeth Cullen Contracts Manager SBDC; Peter Bowell Enforcement Officer  SBDC attended the meeting at the suggestion of Chris Marchant , Head of Contract and Cleaning Services for SBDC to put their pov to the Committee over BOTRA’s criticism of the collection of blue bags and dog waste from the Old Town over previous months.  They felt their service much improved and that any blips had been ironed out.  There appeared some confusion over the use of blue and black bags and they were adamant that only blue bags were in use in the Old Town despite our belief that the new black SBDC bins contained  black bags.  Chair said we would continue to keep a vigilant eye on the situation.
